Artificial Intelligence in Business & Ethics (AIBE) is the world’s largest non-profit AI summit. Our mission is to support the accessibility and democratisation of artificial intelligence by exploring its innovation, technology, and philosophy.

The AIBE Summit takes place each February at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster. With over 700 participants, it is the largest event of its kind ever to be held. The event has featured speakers from Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Accenture, Seedcamp, Satalia (UCL), Jukedeck, Entrepreneur First, the London School of Economics (LSE), Centre for the Future of Intelligence (Cambridge), and the Oxford Internet Institute, as well as exhibitions from Tesla, Aiva Technologies, IntelligentX, and many more.

Founded in 2016 by members of the LSE Entrepreneurs Society, AIBE was kick-started in collaboration with students from UCL and Imperial College. In 2017, we joined forces with Oxford University, King’s College London, and the UCL AI Society, expanding our base to all members of the Golden Triangle.

As well as hosting its annual summit, AIBE is a research institution which aggregates news in AI and publishes content on the AI philosophy. In the future, we plan to move towards establishing an AI startup programme by utilising our growing network of entrepreneurs, corporate advisors, and VCs.

QUILT: Ask + Tell with Polly Rodriguez

Hi and welcome to Unbound! We're a startup of 10 women, femme, and non-binary individuals who make an array of sexual wellness products. Our business was built through a grassroots movement of womxn supporting each other. In case you're wondering what the hell sexual wellness products are, you're not alone! Polly Rodriguez is the CEO + Co-Founder of Unbound, a rebellious sexual wellness company for women. Polly went through a cancer diagnosis at 21 that resulted in early onset menopause and found herself shopping for a vibrator at a seedy shop next to the highway in St. Louis, Missouri. Ten years later, she started Unbound with the goal of taking vibrators, lubricants and sexual accessories mainstream through elevated design, body-safe materials, and accessible pricing. Today, the company has been hailed by the New York Times as the "ideological center of the tech-savvy, female-led women's sexuality movement" with over 75 products created by a team of 10 women in New York City.

Pleasure, Power & Porn

Let’s talk about sex. How can we celebrate sex in ways that emancipate our desire from feelings of shame? Can pleasure, power and porn be redefined as a means to teach us about sex and connection?

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear filmmaker and founder of The Sex Ed, Liz Goldwyn, in conversation with award-winning, international indie adult filmmaker, Erika Lust. The duo will address the responsibility of representing female sexuality across creative mediums, while reframing the dialogue around pornography and gender equality. Liz and Erika will explore whether explicit film can be used as an educational tool to help us better understand our sexuality, and how we can leverage the intensity of the current political and cultural climate to lead a safer, sex-positive society. Please join us for this evening of discussion, and don’t forget to bring your questions.

THE LIST by Kirra Cheers

What would your exes say about you?

Join us for an evening of voyeurism, sexual intrigue and personal introspection... Journey through the gravestones of someone else’s love life, meet his past lovers and engage in a participatory narrative that leaves you questioning…how many people have you had sex with and what would they say about you?

From photography project to published book to The Box, this project has intrigued audiences globally and for two weekends only, you can experience The List exclusively at The Box.

On the origins of The List: “On the evening of October 13th, 2014, my 27th birthday, I was gifted a list from an acquaintance I will refer to as ‘K’ (the Keeper). The list chronicled his sexual history, named and numbered in consecutive order. I spent a year tracking down the people behind the names, interviewing and photographing them in the hope of creating a picture of K as he would be seen through the eyes of his former lovers.” (Kirra Cheers)

The production combines projections and music with live performance to create a sensory experience that immerses the audience into the characters’ journey while questioning their own.

Keep the conversation going after the show, enjoy custom themed cocktails and party into the night with us at The Box!

What would your life look like as seen through the eyes of your former lovers?

New York Sextech Hackathon

New York Sextech Hackathon

  • 195 Broadway Brooklyn, NY, 11211 United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Future of Sex's sextech hackathon has been to Australia, to Asia and in August it's coming to New York.

What's a sextech hackathon?

A weekend-long hackathon in which all members will collaborate intensively on creating sextech products. Unlike other hackathons that may require some coding expertise, we are open to all skills and experience levels. Gathering together in teams, you will innovate, and depending on the expertise of the team, generate a working prototype, whether this is a technology product, a design or a campaign.

Who Can Participate?

We welcome people of all job descriptions, whether you’re a designer, developer, marketer, entrepreneur, project manager, therapist or sexologist. Diverse groups often work incredibly well together to produce the best results.

In particular, we are focused on making space for, and elevating the voices and perspectives of, women-identified people, although we support inclusion of all genders and sexualities.

In the next few decades, our sex lives will undergo incredible change.

The roles of apps, websites, robots and VR will continue to expand at the intersection of technology and sexuality, presenting possibilities that are infinite, awe-inspiring and unknown.

A diverse range of voices and ideas are urgently needed to find new and innovative ways to use technology to deliver sex education, products and services for sexual health and wellness, assault reporting and dating.

As an industry, 'sextech' is already estimated to be worth A$20B and is set to become one of the fastest growing multi-billion dollar industries in the next few years.

If you have an idea or want to be involved in an amazing project that can make a difference in people's lives, join us for this ground-breaking hackathon.

What Is Sextech?

Most simply, sextech is any technology designed with the intention of enhancing human sexuality and human sexual experience.

Solutions may cover any of the areas associated with sexual experience from sexual health and wellbeing, to personal safety, choice of sexual experiences, personal dignity in sex, games, entertainment and dating experiences.

Why Should You Care?

Innovations in sextech will allow us to experience, express, and understand our sexualities in ways we never thought possible.

The key value of sextech products and services is that they are designed around relationships, bringing new ideas of intimacy, pleasure and desire to the human experience. While there is plenty of potential in this space, it is largely untapped.

We believe that women-identified technologies and thinkers can influence the direction of this market, while also changing the cultural conversation and attitudes toward female sexuality. This event is designed to be open to all, but our ambition is for women's voices to be contributing elements to all projects arising from our event.
